As a neuro-ophthalmologist, Dr. Sabet specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological disorders which manifest with ocular and visual symptoms.


Dr. Sabet offers a wide range of services, including full neuro-ophthalmological exams and in-office diagnostics such as optical coherence tomograms, visual field tests, neurosensory exams, electroretinography (ERGs), and other tailored testing.


Yes, Dr. Sabet accepts most insurance plans. Please contact our office to verify your specific insurance coverage, if you are not sure. We generally accept the following insurances:

HMO plan holders must have a referral before their appointment. If you do not see your insurance within the list above, please contact our office for further assistance.

  • Comprehensive yearly eye exams? Glasses? 
    • No, as Dr. Sabet is no longer practicing general ophthalmology. We recommend that you establish care with a general ophthalmologist or optometrist for these concerns.
  • Cataracts? 
    • No, as Dr. Sabet is no longer doing cataract surgeries. We recommend that you establish care with a cataract specialist and/or surgeon for these concerns.
  • Glaucoma? Ocular hypertension?
    • No. We recommend that you establish care with a glaucoma specialist for these concerns.
  • Chalazions/styes? Eyelid procedures?
    • No. We recommend that you establish care with an oculoplastics specialist for these concerns.
  • Diabetic eye exams? Macular degeneration?
    • No. We recommend that you establish care with a retina specialist for these concerns. 
  • Flashes and floaters? Retinal detachments?
    • No. We recommend that you establish care with a retina specialist for these concerns. 


Yes! These forms must be filled out before we can schedule the patient. 

Without the forms, we do not have sufficient information to create the patient in our charting system, and are thus unable to proceed with the scheduling process.

Furthermore, these documents provide crucial medical history for our medical assistants, which allows us to better prepare for your visit and assist you. 

Even if you have a referral, and even if another doctor's office calls us, we need this paperwork! 

If there is a true medical emergency, please seek out your nearest Emergency Room or Urgent Care Facilities. 


Although Dr. Sabet has a high volume of patients, we endeavor to see all patients within a reasonable timeframe, with consideration of the patient's condition and severity of symptoms. 

If your situation has changed due to a worsening in symptoms, please call our staff. We will re-evaluate the timeframe of your appointment slot, and may recommend you to Emergency or Urgent Care facilities if necessary.
